Sadly, Linda’s family announce her passing at the Georgian Bay Hospital in Midland, on Saturday, July 21^st, 2018. Linda May Elizabeth (nee Valois) was the beloved wife of Dr. Medville “Med” Thompson, she was 79 years old. She was predeceased by her parents Leo and Beatrice Valois, and by her brother Michael-Lee. Dearly loved sister of Ricky Valois and his wife Janet of Calgary. She will be lovingly remembered by Ricky’s children Russell (Melissa) and Tamara. Linda for many years worked for the City of Toronto as an IT Specialist. A Celebration Service will be held at the Martyn & Sloan “Mattawa Chapel” on Saturday, August 25^th at 11am. Her ashes will later be interred in the family plot in St. Anne’s Cemetery. A donation to a local Mattawa Charity would be appreciated as an expression of sympathy.
