Dear Don, David & family,
So very sorry to hear of Joan's passing. We all loved her very much.
I have many fond memories of her stopping by our place on her way home from Widdifield. She and mom would swap stories about that day's events, a 'rye & water' or other libation in hand. Their bond taught me that women could be successful, career driven, wonderfully supportive of each other and the best of friends. I can still hear them laughing together and sometimes crying together.
Thanks for sharing your energetic, smart, authentic self with us, dear Joan. You made a big impression on this little girl. You will be very deeply missed.
