On behalf of Nipissing University Athletics I would like to express our deepest condolences to Sandy and the Charette family on the loss of such a well loved man.On a personal note I had spent many years with Pat on the College support staff union board when I worked at Canadore.He was such a gentile giant-he cared about the person as a whole-thank you for sharing him with us.I will miss our conversations over the years ,our laughs-{man he could laugh},our concerns for not only the well being of the support staff but of all staff,students and the college community.I will miss my friend-may the memories you have of Pat light the darkened path you are all on right now....till we meet again...Brian Duval and family{Marie}

Pat
This is a very difficult day for me, I often think back to when we were kids growing up at mom and dad's on high street and the fun we use to have, though I left the Bay so many years ago to pave my road in life I never forgot the family and missed you all. Going back to the Bay for visits meant so much to me and would always look forward to a visit with you and Sandy at the house. Your humour and big heart is second to none. Pat you will be missed so much, as you were the corner stone of the family no kidding. Life will go on and when we drive to the Bay in the future, we will stop in and visit your best girl friend---Sandy---what a match. Say a big high to the family up in Heaven for us cause that's where you are right now.
Always in our hearts
Robert & Donna

My family and I are heartbroken. Hard to imagine Pat has left us but he will find good company on the other side. I bought my first car from Pat when he was at Lakewood Ford plus a few after that. Countless dinners and excursions with Pat, Sandy and the Bagno ladies. Sandy, we love you and do take care!
