Obituary of Marie Yvette Eva Gagnon

GAGNON – Marie Yvette Eva  (nee Laplante)

The Gagnon family sadly announces Yvette’s death on Thursday June 14, 2018, at the age of 79 years.  Yvette died peacefully at Cassellhome, surrounded by her family after a length struggle with Alzheimer’s disease.  For the past 58 years she has been the beloved and loving wife of Andre “Andy” Gagnon.  The proud and loving mother of Lise South (William), Bridget Raymond (Claude) and Rejean Gagnon (Wendy)  she will also be lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Chantal, Michel, Rachelle, Russell, Cassandra , Erika and Kyle. She is also survived by her brothers Larry, Donald and Gerry (Elaine), and sisters Evelyn Gagnon, Rolande Warbrick (Glen), Collete Jeannault (Jim), Julie Laplante and Susette Thibault (Claude).  She was predeceased by her brother Robert.  Yvette was a talented and gifted seamstress and enjoyed crafts.  Friends may call at Martyn Funeral Home on Sunday June 17 from 2 – 4 & 7 – 9pm.  Funeral services will be held in the funeral home chapel at 11:00am on Monday June 18^th.  Interment to follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery.  If desired donations to the Alzheimer’s Society will be gratefully acknowledged as expressions of sympathy.
