Obituary of Eugene Theodore Blake

BLAKE: “Gene” Eugene Theodore Passed away at the North Bay Regional Health Center on Wednesday, January 28th, 2015. Gene was the beloved husband and partner to Phyllis (nee Meilleur) of 49 years, he was 67 years old. Loving father of Tammy and Sharon Blake. Gene was predeceased by his children Tex and Mary-Ann. He will be lovingly remembered by his 5 grandchildren Sierra, Tessa, Tyler, Tanner and Lily and by his many nieces and nephews. Dearly loved brother of Diane Clouthier (Raymond), Marion Cameron, Armand Blake and brother –in-law of Douglas, Gary and Craig Meilleur, Leona Hilts (David) and Tina Lajambe (Donald). Gene was a roofer, he owned and operated “T & G Roofing” in the Nipissing District for over 20 years, and was known for his hard work. He loved his family and looked forward to enjoying their company as often as possible. Many enjoyable hours where spent either hunting, fishing or working in the bush. A Memorial Service to celebrate Gene’s life will be held this spring. If desired, donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by his family.
