Fuller, Rodger Allison

Rodger died peacefully on Thursday, August 20, 2026, at the North Bay Regional Health Centre after a final and brutal bout with Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma. 

Born in 1942, at Strathroy General Hospital to George Balderstone Fuller and Annie Marguerite Fuller (nee Pringle), Rodger was a proud alumni of Western University’s faculty of Engineering Science, class of 1942. He worked 35+ years for IBM in Toronto, Montreal, Ottawa and briefly in Germany. He is survived by his brother John Fuller, cousin Margaret Hughes (nee Middleton), wife Bertha Marilyn Fuller (nee Norrie), and children Tracy & Trevor.

When Rodger wasn’t at Pinewood Park Golf Course, he was either sleuthing the internet in search of the new & exciting out there or tending his yard on Lake Nipissing overlooking its beautiful sunset shore. He enjoyed playing tennis until his knees quit and he loved curling until it broke his hip. His hope to see the Leafs bring home another Stanley Cup did not happen in his later lifetime. Meanwhile the Jays made his final year far more interesting than ever expected, a true gift at a truly difficult time.

As per Rodger’s wishes, there will be no service or visitation.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Odette Cancer Centre at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre or the North Bay Regional Health Centre, or our local Cancer Society.
