Villeneuve, John Hector

John passed into spirit peacefully at his home in North Bay on Tuesday, June 16th, 2026, at the age of 69. 

He will be lovingly remembered by his sisters, Margaret Merta and Georgia Villeneuve, and was predeceased by his parents, Hector and Bernadette Villeneuve.

John was a gentle soul who, despite his struggles with addictions throughout his life, worked to make amends in his later years. He will be fondly remembered for his quick wit, kindness and love of sports. 

The family would like to extend their sincere gratitude towards VON workers Sam and Tammy for their care and support to John. 

Special mention to Dave, Teddy, Miles, Gil, Rob, Randall and Gina for being such loyal and devoted friends to John throughout his life.

on Saturday July 11th, 2026 from 6pm to 9 pm at The Fox and Fiddle Pub. (112 Spencer Ave, North Bay)

John’s memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
