Edgar, Robert "Bob" Charles

Surrounded by the love of his family, Robert "Bob" Charles Edgar passed away peacefully at the North Bay Regional Health Centre on Wednesday, June 3, 2026, at the age of 74.

Bob was the beloved husband and best friend of Robin Hayward. Survived by his daughter Michelle Siemans (Tony) and predeceased by his daughter Christina Edgar. Proud grandfather of Tanner, Brock and Rhyannha. He was a dear brother to Nancy Boody (Ken), John Edgar (Claudette), and Scott Edgar.

Bob will be deeply missed by his long-time friend Russell Charney, as well as by his many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.

Bob had a lifelong love of the outdoors. Whether he was fishing, or reminiscing about the days he spent skiing with his family and competitively racing in his youth, he was happiest when embracing life's adventures. Together, Bob and Robin enjoyed traveling and making memories wherever they went. Friendly and outgoing by nature, Bob had a remarkable ability to strike up a conversation and make friends wherever he found himself.

Known for his quick wit and playful sense of humour, Bob loved teasing those he cared about and was always ready with a joke. He was a successful, ambitious, handsome, and loving man whose warmth and laughter left a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know him.
