Foster, Susan Elaine

Susan passed away peacefully at the Nipissing Serenity Hospice on Friday, May 1st, 2026. She was the beloved wife of Rick Foster for the past 51 years, much-loved mom of Cory Foster (Jenn) and Darryl Foster (Tanna), and a proud and devoted grandmother to Camden and Adley Foster, and Hayley and Brooke Foster. Her family meant everything to her, and she loved her children and grandchildren more than anything in the world.

For over 28 years, Sue worked at the Tim Hortons on Cassells Street, where she became a familiar and friendly face to many in the community. She was a true homebody at heart, happiest in the comfort of home with Rick close by, though she enjoyed their visits out west to spend time with the boys and their families.

Sue had a special love for nature and found great joy in feeding the deer in her backyard each winter. Over the years, she became affectionately known as the “deer whisperer” by those who knew her well.

She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
