Unexpectedly at the Algonquin Nursing Home in Mattawa on Tuesday April 14, 2026 at 96 years of age. Loving husband of Earline Joanisse, predeceased in 2022. Loving father of Goldie (Gilles), Mark (Nicole), Barbara (Norm), Richard (Denise), Robert (Andrea), Randy (Monique), Teddy (Janet), Davie (Donna), Rocky, Gary (Joan) and Roger. Predeceased by his son Donny and daughter-in-law Sandra and by son-in-law Rick. Missed by his grandchildren Nathan, Brittany, Andrew, Jasmine, Hayden, Vanessa, Ashley, Travis, Shane, Myles, Eric, Saraya, Amanda, Dustin, Wendy, Kayla, Adam, Angie and great grandchildren. Predeceased by his brothers and sisters Joyce Renaud, Gerald Moore, Michael Moore, Elsie Tucker, Marjorie Larochelle and Carmel Swanson. Friends may call at the Martyn & Sloan ‘Mattawa Chapel’ on Friday April 17 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm. Father Cyril will say prayers at 7:30 pm.
