With deep love and sadness, the family of Holley Alice Menard announce her passing at home, surrounded by the love of her family, on Thursday April 9th, 2026.

Holley faced life with incredible strength and grace. Twenty-four years ago, she was given just a 20% chance of survival following a bone marrow transplant from her beloved late brother, Doug- a testament to the resilience and determination that defined her life.

She was the beloved wife of Denis, in her 67th year. Cherished mom of Michel, and Christa Brochu (Pat). Holley is now reunited with her dear son, Matthew. Adoring mémère of Bastien and Etienne Brochu, and Mattie and Jackson Menard, who brought her endless pride and joy.

She will be forever missed by her sisters Claire Mijatovic (Joe) and Debbie Glenn and was predeceased by her brothers Doug and Clarence Laplante. Holley will be lovingly remembered by her many nieces, nephews, and dear friends.

Holley gave so much of herself to her community. Her dedication and volunteer spirit touched countless lives through her involvement with the Bonfield Lions Club (recent President), the Township Recreation Committee, the 50+ Club in Corbeil, and many other organizations. She had a remarkable way of making everyone feel welcome. Through her own struggles, she developed a deep compassion for others—always ready with kind words, thoughtful advice, and genuine care. Even in difficult times, Holley’s concern was always for those around her.

Friends are invited to join Holley’s family at the Bonfield Community Centre on Monday, April 13th from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Paroisse Ste-Bernadette, Bonfield on Tuesday, April 14th at 12 p.m. Interment at the parish cemetery will be held at a later time.
