Bellehumeur, Marguerite Flore (née Forget)

 It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Marguerite Flore Bellehumeur, who left us peacefully on April 1, 2026, at the age of 73, in Mattawa. Marguerite was born on November 18, 1952, in Ville-Marie Qc. And grew up in Béarn Qc, where she built the strong, loving foundation that she carried throughout her life. She was a truly remarkable woman - strong, loving, and selfless. Marguerite welcomed everyone with open arms and always seemed to have a solution for any problem. She had a beautiful sense of humour and loved to joke around, bringing comfort and laughter to those around her. Her greatest joy in life was her family. She loved her husband Louis Bellehumeur, deeply and cherished her children and grandchildren with all her heart. She especially treasured the time spent with her grandchildren - Jayden, George, Xavier, Mishèle, Emmanuële and Olivia - playing board games and cards, baking, and creating memories filled with love. Marguerite also found peace and happiness outdoors. She loved gardening and spending time in nature, where her gentle spirit truly shined. She is lovingly remembered by her children, Sophie and Sylvain (Jessica), and is now reunited with her two beloved sons, Rock and Ken, who predeceased her. She leaves behind her cherished siblings: Louis, Georgette, Carmen, Michel, Richard, Jacinthe, Brigitte, Marie-Marthe, Jean, Jeanne, and Vianney. Marguerite was the beloved daughter of Josaphat Forget and Henriette Mayer, and her love for her family was a reflection of the values they instilled in her. We take comfort in knowing she is now at peace, reunited with her sons, watching over all of us as a beautiful angel. Marguerite will be deeply missed and forever loved by her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Cremation has taken place. Friends may call at Martyn & Sloan “Mattawa Chapel” on Saturday April 11th, 2026 from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. A reception will follow at the Mattawa Golden Age Club.  In her memory, donations may be made to the Mattawa Hospice. Flowers in her honour may be daisies, a simple and beautiful reflection of her gentle soul. Our mom was a very special woman. She deserves peace, and we will carry her love with us always. sympathy.
