Sproul, Judith (Jodi)

1950-2026

With heavy hearts and immense sadness, we announce the passing of Judith (Jodi) Sproul at the North Bay Regional Health Centre on March 28th, 2026.

She was pre-deceased by her son Ryan, her parents Harold and Audrey Bell, and younger brother Tom. Her husband David has been Jodi’s rock.  His devotion has been her lifeline and example of his unwavering love.

She will be deeply missed by David, family members Pat, Bob, Nancy, Shirley, George, Ted and Troy. Also, numerous nieces & nephews and her special friends Carolyn, Cecile, Bev, June, and Allison. 

Jodi worked at the North Bay Psychiatric Hospital for 26 years and retired, knowing her positive attitude and beautiful smile was a ray of sunshine to anyone lucky enough to have known her.

Her sense of humour and quick wit was a delight to witness.  Jodi’s sense of fashion was pure elegance, her love of colour and choice of unique jewellery pieces always made a statement wherever she went.  She loved to travel with friends as well as partaking in her guilty pleasure of casino outings.  Jodi’s cooking skills were legendary with all who knew her and a place at her dining table always guaranteed an amazing meal.

The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to the doctors and nurses at the North Bay Regional Health Centre. A special thank you to all the amazing staff at the Cartier Site.  Jodi received exceptional care that was compassionate, dignified and supportive to her and family during this difficult time.
