Morris-Epple, Catharine Mary

With much love and sadness, we announce the passing of Catharine Mary Morris-Epple at the North Bay Regional Health Centre on Friday, March 20th, 2026.

Cathy was the beloved wife of David Epple. She was a loving and devoted mom to Brianna Couroux (Jonathan), and a caring step-mom to Julie Epple (Mitch) and Kaitlin Epple (Jamie). She was a proud and cherished grandma to Zeke Epple and Jake Poirier.

Cathy will be deeply missed by her siblings Eddie Morris, Pat Morris, and Kerri Roy, as well as by her beloved fur baby, Willow. She was predeceased by her brother Charlie.

Cathy found her greatest peace and happiness at home on Lake Nipissing. She loved being out on the water, especially paddle boarding with her dogs, and embraced a lifestyle centered around nature, movement, and quiet moments, including her love of yoga.

Cremation has taken place. A celebration of her life will take place at a later date. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the North Bay Humane Society would be gratefully appreciated. The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to her many friends for their love and support, and to the compassionate staff on 3A at NBRHC for the exceptional care and kindness shown to her during this difficult time.
