Sandra Lee Bean Obituary

In Loving Memory of Sandra Lee Bean

Sandra Lee Bean passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loved ones on Tuesday, March 3rd 2026 at the North Bay Regional Health Centre. She leaves behind a legacy of love, creativity, and cherished memories. The daughter of the late Basil Holcombe and Mable Whitehead, Sandra was a woman whose family truly meant the world to her.

She is survived by her devoted husband, Dennis Bean. Together, they shared a beautiful life and were looking forward to celebrating 60 wonderful years of marriage this coming May 7th. Her memory will be carried on by her son Todd and his wife Vanessa Gagne, and their daughter Helaina Gagne-Bean, her son Tim and his wife Heather and their children Kaylin, Shea, and Corbin Bean, and her four siblings-in-law.

Sandra was happiest at her home on Talon Lake, where she spent her time gardening, painting, and crafting. A passionate fan of the Toronto Maple Leafs, she also found great comfort and joy in music, often spending time playing her guitar and listening to her favorite songs.

Cremation has taken place. A celebration of her life will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the North Bay Regional Health Centre in her memory. Her warmth, her music, and her creative soul will be forever remembered by all who knew her.  Online condolences may be left at www.martynfh.com.
