Robinson, Ludmilla & Sydril
With deep sadness, yet with comfort in a life well lived together, we announce the passing of Ludmilla Robinson on February 8th, 2026, and her beloved husband, Sydril Robinson, who followed just two weeks later on February 22nd, 2026. Devoted partners in life and faith, they would have celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary this May.
Much loved parents of Cheryl Bakke (Karl), Darryl Robinson (Rachel), Kelly Wigle (Mark), and Warren Robinson (Ronda, and her daughter Veronica). Cherished and proud grandparents of Shannon Hughes (Glen), Jake Bakke (Maureen), Matthew Robinson (Shonna), Kayla Van Dyk (Thomas), Corey Wigle (Ivy), Travis Wigle, Spencer Robinson (Kelsey), Blake Robinson (Danielle), and Ethan Robinson; and great-grandparents of Zoey and Shelby Hughes, Walker Wigle, and Waylon and Weston Robinson.
They will be dearly missed by Ludmilla’s brother Alex Zeiger (Terry) and sister Rosita Thibeault (Ghislain), as well as Sydril’s siblings Carol King (late Kerry), Randy Robinson (Nikki), Debbie Berg (Allan), and Todd Robinson.
Their lives revolved around their family and their strong faith as Jehovah’s Witnesses. Hardworking, gentle, and deeply kind, Ludmilla and Sydril were always there for others, offering wise guidance, steady support, and quiet acts of love.
Ludmilla was a loving and nurturing wife and mother who found joy in gardening and was known as an exceptional cook who welcomed all with warmth. Sydril was meticulous and organized, a true gentleman who appreciated the simple things in life. He was the patriarch of the family, while Ludmilla was the glue that lovingly held everyone together.
They raised their four children in Brampton before moving North in the mid-1980s, eventually settling in North Bay in 1987, where they built a life rooted in faith, family, and community.
Cremation has taken place for both Ludmilla and Sydril. Interment of their ashes will take place at a later date. Donations to JW.org would be gratefully appreciated as expressions of sympathy. Online condolences may be left at www.martynfh.com
