Passed peacefully at the North Bay Regional Health Centre on Thursday, February 12, 2026. Kerby was the beloved husband of Kim Couchie, he was 68 years old. Loving father of Clifton (predeceased), John and his stepson Brandon. He will be lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Brayden, Brianne, Brooklyn, Katie, Beesym, Brent, and Ava. Sadly missed by his brothers Lester, Dennis and Dean and his sister Anita. Predeceased by his brothers Werly and Jonathan.  Kerby will be dearly remembered by his and Kim’s family and friends throughout the province. He worked for many years at the North Bay Indian Friendship Centre.

Ceremonies will be held in Moose Factory on Wednesday, February 17th, and the burial will take place at the Moose Factory Cemetery on Thursday.
