Fortin, Germain

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Germain Fortin, a man who lived for the great outdoors and the satisfaction of a hard day's work.

Germain was an avid hunter and fisherman who found his greatest peace at the camp, where he was truly in his element when surrounded by nature. A master of machinery and construction, he took immense pride in working with his hands and had a natural gift for building, fixing, and operating heavy equipment.

Germain was predeceased by his wife, Noémi (Brault), and his partner, Jocelyne (Beaudoin). He is survived and will be deeply missed by Patricia (Lance), Josée (Alain), and Patrick (Mandy). He was the proud grandfather of Karyne (Kyle), Danya (Eric), Pierre (Kailey), Stéphane, two bonus grandchildren Madison and Chad, and a cherished great-grandfather to five great-grandchildren.

He leaves behind a legacy of grit and self-reliance. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Online condolences may be left at www.martynfh.com.
