MARQUARDT, Jason

Passed away unexpectedly on November 20, 2025, in his home he was 38 years old. His life was cut far too short.

Jason is survived by his younger brother Brandon and his loving parents Cindy and Juergen. He will be remembered by his cousins Breanne (Chris), Abby and Mathieu Ouellette, Brooklynn and Logan.

Also remembered by his Aunt Ramona (Paul)Tyler, Cousin Christen and Carrissa.

Connected by friends Ellen George, Olivia, Georgia and his little buddy Lucas and Xvaier. Also, Greg and Janet Dobberthein and family and friends Penny and Kenn Lamorea.

Predeceased by his grandfather’s Walter Marquardt Sr. and Howard Evans and his uncle Walter Marquardt jr.

Jason was a wonderful, happy, joyous, funny person who enjoyed life, loved to travel, enjoyed aquafit and dancing. He was an animal lover, obvious on his trip to the zoo with his mom and his buddy Lucas. He loved and cherished his pets, dog Regan and his cats Charley and Church.

He loved volunteering for YourTv and the North Bay Battalion, Go Troops Go.

Jason always put others above himself, he was a generous and loving person.

A Memorial Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 3, 2025, from 12:00pm-2:00pm at the Martyn Funeral Home (464 Wyld St. North Bay), with a Memorial Service to follow in the Martyn Funeral Home Chapel at 2:00pm.

Please wear Hawaiian type attire or bright colours in Jason’s honour.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the North Bay Humane Society, The Toronto Zoo, or the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
