VENASSE, Gary Wilfred

1939 - 2025

Gary passed away peacefully at Cassellholme on Tuesday November 18th at the age of 86, survived by his loving wife Carol (Luxton) of 65 years.

Predeceased by his son Daren. Survived by his daughter Cory Langlois (Darryl) of North Bay.

Grandfather to Brittany and Tyler Langlois (Natasha) and Brett and Kyrsten Venasse and grandchildren Serena, Niko and Theo.

Predeceased by his parents Leo and Veronica Venasse and survived by his sister Leona Adams.

Gary grew up in North Bay and was an Optician by trade. He was the manager of Bausch+Lomb Optical in North Bay and Burlington before opening his own business Venasse Optical in North Bay. They serviced optometrists and Opticians throughout Northern Ontario until 1993 when he retired. 

Gary spent many of his retirement years enjoying the warm weather in Florida.
