HOLDING, Paul Tress

Passed away peacefully at Northern Heights Community in North Bay on Sunday, November 16, 2025, after a brief stay of just five days.

Beloved and devoted husband of Ann (née Beck). Cherished father of Kim Desmarchais (Ken), Kelly Kemick (Rick), and Jeff Holding. Paul will be deeply missed by his grandchildren: Shalyn, John, and Lauren Desmarchais; Tress and Richard Kemick; Julie Ferris-Armour; and Drew Ferris, and lovingly remembered by his 13 great-grandchildren.

He is predeceased by his daughter Jo-Ann Ferris (late husband Andrew) and by his brother Jim Holding (late Mary).

Paul took great pride in building the family cottage in Picton, Ontario—a place filled with years of memories, laughter, and time spent boating and swimming with those he loved most. He and Ann shared a passion for travel and treasured the many adventures they experienced together.

As per his wishes, cremation has taken place. Interment will be held in the family plot in the spring.
