Brad Christanson

September 13, 1967 – October 19, 2025

Brad Christanson of Garson, Ontario, passed away peacefully on October 19, 2025, at the age of 58 in North Bay, Ontario. Brad was the beloved son of Aldine Christanson and the late Rod Christanson.

He is survived by his sons, Connor (Julija) and Jordan Christanson; his sister, Natalie (Mike) Kurkimaki; and his cherished grandsons: Jackson, Brodie, Isaiah, and John Christanson. Known jokingly as “Cool Papa,” Brad took immense joy in spending time with his grandsons at camp—sharing laughs, adventures, and signature knuckles that became a family tradition.

A proud graduate of Queen’s University, Brad earned his degree in Civil Engineering and carried that precision and dedication into every aspect of his life. Whether he was cheering on his beloved Maple Leafs or relaxing at camp with his boys, Brad’s humour and unwavering love for his family was on display.

Brad’s legacy is one of loyalty and laughter. He will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
