John HONG

It is with great sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of John, in North Bay on Thursday, October 9th, 2025. He was the beloved son of King Hong and the late Lai Ha (née Kwok), at the age of 59. Loving brother of Diane Hong, Katherine and brother-in-law Tarek El-Kaissi. John will be fondly remembered by his nephews Noah, Joshua and Abraham. Family will receive friends at the Martyn Funeral Home on Thursday, October 16th, 2025, from 10:30 am until time for a Funeral Service at 12 noon. Interment will follow at the Forest Lawn Cemetery at 1 pm.
