Lucille Cabrales (Nikki) passed away on September 19, 2025, at Victoria Hospital in London, Ontario, after a brief but courageous battle with cancer.

The family wishes to extend their heartfelt gratitude to her dear friends Norman, Nella, and Cheryl, who stood by her side and brought comfort during her final hours.

Lucille was predeceased by her beloved husband, Kelvin; her parents, Florian and Florida Amyot; her siblings, Andre, Cécile (Desmond), Florian Jr, Ernest (Joyce); brother-in-law, Emile. 

She is survived by her daughter Joanne (Kevin); her sister, Pierrette; sister-in-law, Colette; her granddaughters;  and many nieces and nephews.

Memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.

A Mass will be held on Oct 17, 2025, at 11:00 am at St. Anne’s Catholic Church in Mattawa (241 2nd St). Followed by interment at St. Thérèse Cemetery in Eau Claire.
