It is with devastated hearts we announce the sudden passing of Reynold Reif, age 62, of North Bay, on September 13, 2025. Born September 16th, 1962, in North Bay.

Reynold was predeceased by his father and mother Frank and Ilse (Fuchs) Reif.

Reynold is survived by his beloved wife Cynthia Williams Reif who he married in 1999, his brother Richard Reif (Debbie Robinson Reif), and his sister Rosemary (Adrian) Edwards, as well as many other family members, nieces, and nephews. Also, left behind are his beloved dogs Hunter and Sparty.

He will be missed by all who knew him, especially his Godson Timothy Russell.

The couple shared a love of dogs, movies, and spending time with family and friends. Reynold's love of the Maple Leaf’s and the show Mayday made for many many in depth chats with friends. A Dog's Life movie was a huge favorite. His best friend and brother Richard Reif will miss his last minute dinner invites along with the daily conversations between the two.

Reynold spent his career as a carpenter and making blue prints for various contracts. His patient manner, quick laugh, and attention to detail made him very well loved by all his co-workers.

Reynold had so many friends and co-workers who have become family over the years. Our hearts go out to you all.

A celebration of Reynold’s life will be held at North Bay Rorab Shrine Club, 1260 Brookes St, North Bay, ON P1B 2P1, on Sunday, October 19th at 1:00 p.m.

A special thank you to all the fi rst responders during this very diffi cult time. Your kindness and empathy was beyond tremendous.

A heartfelt thank you to all those who attended Reynold’s 63rd birthday remembrance. The outpouring of love and support was appreciated beyond measure.
