Shawn Eloi Jodouin (Bubba)

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Shawn Eloi Jodouin, affectionately known as Bubba, who departed this world on September 6, 2025, just days shy of his 43rd birthday. Born on September 9, 1982, in North Bay, Shawn called Bonfield Township his home, where he made lasting memories and deep connections.

A devoted father, Shawn leaves behind his beloved children: Phoenix, Juliette, and Quinn, who were the light of his life. He is survived by his loving parents, Roger and Francoise, and his cherished brother Jason (Chrystal), along with his dear nephew Mason. Shawn also had a special bond with his best friend Jesse, who stood by him through thick and thin.

Shawn dedicated his professional life to the Bonfield Township Road Works Department, where he was known for his hard work and commitment. He also proudly served as a volunteer firefighter, embodying the spirit of community and service.

There was nothing that brought Shawn more joy than being surrounded by his family, engaging in card games, or cheering on his favorite baseball teams. His warm smile and infectious sense of humor will forever remain in our hearts, reminding us of the joy he brought to those around him.

In accordance with his wishes, cremation has taken place, and a celebration of Shawn's life will be held at a later date.

The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Redhead, Dr. Jinnah, the staff at Nipissing Serenity Hospice, and the dedicated team on the Cancer floor at the North Bay Regional Health Centre for their exceptional care and compassion during Shawn's final journey.
