Murza Carol Vandusen

August 21, 1940 – September 3, 2025

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Murza Carol Vandusen, who left us peacefully on September 3, 2025, surrounded by the love of her family.

Murza was predeceased by her beloved husband, Bruce Renaldo Vandusen, and will be forever cherished in memory by her children: • Brian Kent Vandusen (North Bay) and his wife Wendy • Carolyn Murza Buchwald (Callander) and her husband Brent • Kathryn Anne Fletcher (North Bay) and her husband Andrew She was a proud and loving grandmother to: • Paul Vandusen (wife Jennifer) • Corinne Hamilton (Buchwald) (husband Kevin) • Aaron Buchwald • Dylan Fletcher (wife Hannah) and a devoted great-grandmother to Hailey and Austin Vandusen. Murza is survived by her brother Leslie Daly, and predeceased by her siblings Heather Racicot, Millicent Lamabe, and Garth (Gary) Daly. She was the daughter of the late Stuart J. Daly and Olga L. Daly. A devout Christian, Murza’s faith was the foundation of her life.

She was a long-time member of Calvary Pentecostal Temple, where she faithfully served and worshipped for many years. Her love for God shone through in her kindness, generosity, and the way she prayed daily for her family and friends. Those who knew her will remember her as a woman of unwavering faith, gentle wisdom, and a heart devoted to Christ.

Murza’s greatest joy was her family, and she leaves behind a legacy not only of love and laughter, but also of steadfast belief in God’s promises. Her example of faith will continue to inspire generations to come.

Viewing will be 9 am to 11 am on Thursday, September 11, 2025 at Martyn Funeral Home, North Bay, ON followed by funeral service at 11 am. Burial will be at 1 pm at Forest Lawn Cemetery on Tower Drive, North Bay, ON. The funeral service will be available by livestream here . The family extends heartfelt thanks to all who supported Murza with care and compassion in her later years.
