Jacqueline (Jackie) Williams of Mattawa, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on August 8, 2025, in Mattawa, Ontario, at the age of 86.

Jackie was born on June 21, 1939, in Chapleau, Ontario, to the late Amelia and Marco Del Giudice.

Jackie is predeceased by her husband Bryan Williams, her daughter Carolyn Williams(Glenn), her brothers Ted, Andre, and Peter, and her sister Elaine.

Jackie’s greatest joy was her family. She leaves behind her sons, Bryan Williams, Brent Williams (Michela), her seven loving grandchildren: Kyle, Bryan Jr., Brooklynn, Mitchel, Conner, Quentin, and Blake, and her brother Pat Del Giudice. Her legacy lives on in the warmth, humor, and strength she instilled in those closest to her.

She was known for her quiet resilience, her kind heart, and her deep devotion to her loved ones. Her Catholic faith was an integral part of her life. She gave generously of her time, volunteering at the Mattawa Hospital, and Algonquin Nursing Home. Whether through a thoughtful phone call, a shared laugh, or her constant support, Jackie touched the lives of many. Her memory will remain a constant source of comfort and inspiration to those who knew her.

A funeral mass will be held to honour Jackie’s life on September 27, 2025, at St Anne’s Church in Mattawa, Ontario, followed by a luncheon. Interment will take place at a later date at Sanctuary Park Cemetery in Toronto.

The family wishes to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the nurses and doctors of the Ottawa Civic Hospital, as well as the nurses and Dr Redhead at the Mattawa hospital for their compassionate care. In lieu of flowers, the family encourages acts of kindness or donations to the Mattawa Hospital and Mattawa Hospice.
