On July 19, 2025, Kevin was tragically taken from us far too soon. He is survived by his loving parents, Harvey and Noreen Rose, and his dear sister, Shelley. Kevin also leaves behind his beloved children: Sienna, Cameron, Shaylee, Cailin, and Coleson, along with his cherished first grandchild, Nehemiah. He is fondly remembered by his many aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, and co-workers – all of whom he treasured.
Kevin was born and raised in Rutherglen, ON, where he developed the strong values that shaped his life – kindness, loyalty, compassion, and a deep love for family and friends. After college, he settled in Ottawa, where he began his career. A new opportunity later took him to Texas, and over the years, his journey led him through many parts of the U.S, each place adding new experiences, friendships, and memories. Eventually, he found his way back to the family farm, the place where his roots ran deepest and his heart felt most at home.
Kevin’s dad, Harvey, wasn’t just his father – he was his best friend. Their bond was unshakeable, built on mutual respect, laughter, and a lifetime of shared experiences. The two could often be found working side-by-side, talking about life, or just enjoying each other’s company.
Known affectionately as “Rosey”, Kevin was the kind of person who made everyone feel like family. He was always just a phone call away, whether you needed help, a laugh, or someone to share a cold drink and a story with. He had a gift for bringing joy to any room and was always ready for a good time. His friendships ran deep, and his loyalty never wavered.
Professionally, Kevin built a successful career in electromagnetic testing and was a dedicated, respected member of the NemKo Canada Inc. Team. But beyond any career achievement, his greatest pride was being a father. He went to great lengths, driving countless miles and making every effort to give his children unforgettable experiences and create memories that will last a lifetime.
Kevin’s heart was big, his spirit unshakable, and his presence unforgettable. His love, laughter, and compassion touched everyone lucky enough to know him. He will be missed more than words can ever express, but his legacy will live on in the stories we share, the values he lived by, and the lives he so deeply impacted.
A celebration of Kevin’s life will be held at a later date.
