Dickieson, Edna Bessie (née Bauld)

With love and gratitude for a life well-lived, we share that Edna Bessie Dickieson (née Bauld) passed away unexpectedly at the North Bay Regional Health Centre on Wednesday, July 16, 2025, after a brief illness.

Beloved wife of the late Thomas Dickieson (2022), Edna was a devoted and caring mom to Sean and his wife Cindy, and a proud Nana to Jadzea, Keira, and Skyler. She will be deeply missed by her siblings Marjorie (Rick), Dan (Mabel), David (Gertie), Daisy (Hubert), and Iona, as well as her many nieces and nephews: Melissa, Bradley, Tracey, Stephen, Derek, Kerry, Rosemary, Kevin, Darrell, Dexter, Dwight, Denise, and Keith.

Edna cherished her time on the golf course, especially during ladies’ night at Highview Golf Course, and loved sharing coffee and treats with her lifelong friends, Liane and Tom Clarke. Her warmth, laughter, and kindness will be fondly remembered by all who knew her.

Cremation has taken place. A celebration of Edna’s life will be held at a later date. A donation to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be gratefully acknowledged as expressions of sympathy. Arrangements entrusted to Martyn Funeral Home. Online condolences may be left at www.martynfh.com.
