BOTCHAR, Kenneth (Ken)


Ken passed away peacefully on July 13th, 2025, at the North Bay Regional Health Centre with his beloved wife May Botchar by his side.


Ken was born on September 30th, 1938, in Winnipeg Manitoba to proud parents Helen Louise Botchar (McCulloch) and James Peter Botchar.


Remembered by his wife May Botchar (McKay), his two daughters Lynn (Ray Point) and Maureen (Mike Atchison). Proud grandfather to Adam Atchison, Alyssa Atchison, Aaron Atchison of Sudbury, Ontario and Jarod Point of Regina, Saskatchewan. He will be lovingly remembered by extended family and many friends.


Ken had a career in the Royal Canadian Air Force and travelled extensively in Europe and Canada.


In keeping with his wishes, Ken has been cremated, and a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.


The family extend their heartfelt thanks to the Doctors, Nurses and PSW’s on the surgical level 3 and Willow Lodge on B1 for their exceptional care and compassion during Ken’s final days.
