Jeffery Allan Latimer
January 11, 1957 – July 1, 2025
Jeff left this life on July 1, 2025, at the Nipissing Serenity Hospice. He had been suffering from esophageal cancer and necrotizing pneumonia.
He leaves behind his wife of almost 47 years, Judy Latimer (Walker), daughters, Melissa Valiquette (Ricky), Sarah Latimer (Beau), and Stacey Latimer (Jon).
Grandchildren, Devon Valiquette, Travis Valiquette, Taylor Valiquette (Casey), Paige Latimer (Nic) and many nieces and nephews.
Also survived by Robert Kim Latimer (Karen), Martin Latimer, Jennifer Desroches, Gary and Theresa Walker, Terry and Linda Walker, Wendy and Larry Jones, and Paul and Danielle Walker.
Predeceased by his parents, Robert, and Lola (Condie) Latimer, Jody Latimer, Walter and Ellen Walker and Donna and Leonard Spinks.
Jeff was an active member of Calvin Twp Council and Calvin Fire Department for many years and was also a member of the planning board. Jeff loved hunting, fishing, and working on his dad’s farm.
Special thanks to the nursing staff at the Mattawa Hospital, the staff at NBRHC, Dr. Jinnah and staff at Nipissing Serenity Hospice. Special thanks to Annie from VON who always made Jeff smile.
Memorial Visitation will take place on Friday, July 11, 2025, at Eau Claire Missionary Church from 6:30pm – 8:30pm.
Celebration of Life will be held at the Eau Claire Missionary Church on Saturday, July 12, 2025, at 10:00am.
Donations in Jeff’s memory may be made to Nipissing Serenity Hospice or Eau Claire Missionary Church and would be gratefully acknowledged by his family.
