Emile Trahan

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Emile Trahan on Saturday, May 24, 2025, at the age of 84. He will be remembered for his deep love of family, strong work ethic and love of the outdoors, especially fishing.

Emile was a devoted husband to Pierrette for over 60 years, and together, they built a life full of love, laughter, and resilience. Emile's presence, wisdom, and warm heart will be missed daily.

He is survived by his wife, Pierrette; Children Jo-Ann, Lynn, and Dale; Grandchildren Alex Boyd, Geran Wallhead, and Cameron Boyd (Paige); Great-grandchildren Temperance, Lancelot, and Valor Boyd; and Brother Marcel (Paulette). He was predeceased by his parents Emile and Marie, sisters Clemence and Rachel, and many loved family members and friends.

The service will be held on Monday, June 9, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Anne's Church in Mattawa. The interment will follow at St. Therese Cemetery in Eau Claire.
