Obituary of Tex Hudson Crites

With great sadness we regret to announce that our Dad has passed away at a time and place of his choosing, in his 96^th year.

Beloved husband to the late Marie Crites (Leclair), dear friend of the late Helen Hunter and the late Lucille Sampson.

Son of the late John Crites and Ada Fetterly, stepson to the late Bea Crites (Casselman).

Loving father to Esther Adamowicz (Ben), David Crites (Janet), Linda Birch (John), Jane Abel (Garnet), Jim Crites (Joann) and Stephen Crites (Nicole). Predeceased by sons Richard and Andy.

Dear brother to Wylda, predeceased by brothers George, Irwin, Hughie, Glen, Gordon, Claude and sisters Irene, Viola and Audrey.

Dearly missed grandfather to Christopher, William, Leah, Garold, Lauri Ann, Glen, Garnet Jr., Betty-Lou, Samantha, Paul, Delray, Derek, Adam, Alex, and Elijah. Predeceased by his granddaughter Krystal.

Loving great grandfather to Estera, Isabella, Dartagnan, Boni Marie, Jasmine, LJ, Kelsy Lynn, Evan, Alexis, Josie, Noah, James, Thomas, Chase, Nova, Abigail, Kayce, Maverick, Oliver and Theodora.

Loving great, great grandfather to Brodie and Theo.

Tex was a man of many talents; his greatest legacy was his over 70 years in the automotive industry. His expertise and reputation for honesty and his workmanship were well known.

He was a man of integrity and kindness, and he was deeply dedicated to his children. His joys in life were his family, friends, fishing, dancing, euchre and playing Wii.

Though we mourn his loss, we also celebrate the incredible life he lived. He will always be dad, and we will miss him.

Friends may call at the Martyn Funeral Home On Sunday May 25 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Tex will be interred at Forest Lawn Cemetery beside his wife Marie at a later date. Special thanks to Dr. Abeysinghe and Dr. Nelson. In lieu of flowers donations to the North Bay Regional Health Centre Foundation, Patient Wish Program- Palliative Care would be appreciated.
