Klem, Robert William

Robert William Klem, age 87, passed away peacefully on May 8th, 2025 at North Bay Regional Health Centre. Born on March 21, 1938, in Dauphin, Manitoba, Robert lived a life filled with passion and purpose.

After finishing high school in Toronto, Bob moved to Temagami, where he began a long and fulfilling career in education. He taught at Temagami Public School and eventually concluded his career as a guidance counselor in the Tri-Towns, impacting the lives of countless students along the way.

Bob had a love for adventure and was passionate about traveling to far-off beaches. He enjoyed marathon running and scuba diving, activities that reflected his adventurous spirit and zest for life.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Joy Klem; his daughter, Terrie Klem (OJ Keown); and his faithful dog, Charlie. Robert is predeceased by his parents, Thomas and Alma Klem.

Robert will be remembered for his kindness, dedication to education, and adventurous spirit. He touched the lives of many and will be greatly missed.
