Obituary of Richard Robert Victor Dolighan
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Richard Dolighan on March 21, 2025. He passed peacefully, surrounded by family, at the age of 81.
Dick is now reunited with his beloved wife, Glennis Dolighan, and their cherished son, Michael Dolighan. The love they shared continues to echo in the hearts of all who knew him.
Dick's life was a beautiful journey, filled with adventure, family, and an unwavering passion for exploration. An avid hiker and traveler, Dick found joy in discovering the world. His career in the pharmaceutical industry took him across the globe. While he lived in many places, it was Puerto Rico and California that he cherished most, where he built lifelong friendships and created countless memories.
Though Dick faced many challenges in his later years, including his brave battle with Parkinson's disease, his strength and determination never wavered. He approached every day with grace, courage, and a positive outlook, always focusing on the love of family and his passion for life. His resilience throughout this journey was admirable to all who knew him.
Dick had a real sense of fashion and was always "put together," though it's fair to say it was his wife, Glennis, who truly cultivated that flair for style. Together, they enjoyed many years of mutual love and shared interests.
A devoted father and friend, Dick leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and strength. His warmth, generosity, and wisdom will be dearly missed by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Dick's family would like to express their heartfelt thanks to those who have supported him during this difficult time. He will forever live on in the hearts of those who loved him.
As per Dick’s wishes, cremation has taken place and their will be no funeral service.
Rest in peace, Dick. You will never be forgotten.
