Roman Kazimierz Rozicki

1950-2025

Beloved husband of Sandra for 54 years, father of Ryan (Kelly), Wesley (Ruth), and Tyler. Brother to Irene Fenn (Rick) and Eddie (Vivien).

Born in Belgium to Polish parents, Roman immigrated to Canada in 1950 and grew up in Waterford, where he met Sandra, the love of his life.

He began his 38-year policing career with the North Bay Police Service in 1973, retiring as an officer in 2003, but continuing as a Youth Court Officer until 2010. Dedicated to his profession, he also held executive roles with the North Bay Police Association.

A lifelong car enthusiast, Roman spent hours researching vehicles, always excited about the next car he would be driving on road trips with Sandra.

After retiring, he volunteered as a Senior’s Transportation Driver with the North Bay Red Cross. A devoted member of Trinity United Church, he actively participated in many church committees and groups.

Roman will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and community.

A Memorial Service to honour Roman will be held at Trinity United Church (111 McIntyre Street East, North Bay, Ontario) on Thursday, March 20th at 11:00 am.

In lieu of flowers, donations to Trinity United Church would be appreciated.
