Clifford Andre Riopelle Obituary

It is with profound sadness that we share the passing of our beloved husband and father Clifford Riopelle who left us peacefully at home on March 6, 2025, at the age of 88.

He was a man who was very down to earth and whom readily shared a story or attentively listened.

He cherished every moment spent with loved ones and friends.

He is survived by his most cherished soulmate and love of his life, Margaret for almost 66 years.

He leaves behind 5 children, Jennifer, Michael Riopelle of Surrey BC, Renee Riopelle (David Pitman) of Kelowna BC, Sybil Riopelle of Ottawa and Clifford Riopelle Jr. (Annette Riopelle) of Fort McLeod Alberta.

He also leaves behind 16 grandchildren (One predeceased), and 19 great-grandchildren plus one on the way.

There will be no visitation, but a service will be held at the Pro Cathedral of the Assumption in North Bay on March 22, 2025, at 10:00am.

Following the service, please join us downstairs for a luncheon and as our dad always said “OK WHO WANTS PIE”

Donations in Memory of Clifford may be made to the Nipissing Serenity Hospice or the Canadian Cancer Society.
