Doreen Reid passed away peacefully on March 5, 2025, at the North Bay Regional Health Centre. She is now reunited with her husband, Alex Reid.

Doreen was a devoted mother to Ronda, Noreen, Janet, and Robert, and her love for her family extended to her cherished grandchildren, Krista, Andrew, Stacey, and Spencer.

She will be lovingly remembered by her brother Ken, along with her late siblings Russell, Gerald, and Gladys.

Doreen found joy in solving crosswords, immersing herself in mystery novels, and piecing together intricate picture puzzles. Her creative mind and zest for life shone brightly through these hobbies.

Doreen was also deeply committed to her community, volunteering with various committees at Emmanuel United Church, where she served as the church secretary—an invaluable role that reflected her dedication and passion for helping others.

In accordance with Doreen's wishes, cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to a charity of choice.
