Obituary of Donald Harold Burton

Donald Harold Burton was born on April 18, 1933, in Deux Rivieres, Ontario and passed on February 28, 2025, peaceably in North Bay, Ontario. Husband of Nancy Burton.
His brother Bruce predeceased him. His siblings are Eileen (Ivan), of Orillia and Bob of Chalk River.
His children are Linda (Chuck), Donna, Kim, and Neil (Julia). Stepchildren Scott (Melody) and Milynda (Mark). 12 Grandchildren, 13 great-children and many nieces and nephews.
Missed by his Cocker Spaniel, Teri and cat, Calliope.
Long term resident of Deep River, Deux Rivieres, and North Bay!
He had been a great outdoors man, since he was a young boy and widely traveled through North American.
Retired after over 41 years, as Production Manager at AECL, in Chalk River. Having worked from January 5, 1953, to August 15, 1994, in that location.
Thanks to all the staff in the many areas of hospital that he stayed. Many commented on his wit , even close to his departure.
Cremation has occurred. A Private Celebration to follow in Deux Rivieres. HIS FAVOURITE PLACE!
