Obituary of Rose Cecile Toupin

Toupin, Rose (nee Fleury)

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our mother, Rose Toupin, on Wednesday February 19th, 2025 at the Algonquin Nursing Home in Mattawa, at the age of 94.

Rose was predeceased by her husband Denis in 2012 and her son Roger in 1997. She will be forever loved and missed dearly by her remaining children, Gyslaine Pennell (late Donald), Micheline Blake (Conrad), Linda (late Pierre), Jacques (Judy), Denise Lefrançois (late Maurice), and Lise. She will also be missed by her many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Rose is predeceased by her parents, Wilfrid Fleury and Aldegonde Mélançon, and her siblings, Laurent (late Pierrette), Yvan (late Wilma), Claude (late Ruth), Guy, Mariette Janveaux (late Emile) and Colette Moore (late Patrick).

Cremation has taken place. Interment of ashes will be held at Ste. Anne Cemetery in the Spring followed by a Celebration of Life.

If desired, donations to the Mattawa Hospital Special Equipment fund would be gratefully acknowledged as expressions of sympathy.

The family would like to thank Dr. Mark Wilkins & Dr. Bryan Williams and the amazing staff at the Algonquin Nursing Home for their care and compassion shown to our mother.
