It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jacques Chaput, who left us peacefully on January 19, 2025, at the age of 72.
Born to the late Cyril and Lorraine (Pharand) Chaput, Jacques was a beloved father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. He will be dearly missed by his daughter Natalie Johnson of New Brunswick and his stepdaughter Angele Chaput of British Columbia. He is survived by his sister Danielle Robichaud (Paul) of North Bay and was predeceased by his brother Maurice Chaput of Sudbury.
Jacques will be fondly remembered for his warm heart, gentle spirit, and the love he shared with everyone who knew him.
A celebration of Jacques’ life will be held on August 1, 2025, at St. Jacques Cemetery in Hanmer at 1PM where family and friends are invited to gather and share memories.
He will be deeply missed and forever loved.
