I am very sorry to hear of Joan's passing. I remember her as a very knowledgable person in the travel industry. I did quite a lot of work in the Caribbean and Joan would look after my travel arrangements many times on short notice and changes i would ask her to make while I was on the road. I always knew all I had to do was call Joan and know all would be looked after and with a smile.
Rest in peace

Joan and I worked together at Marlin Travel for several years. Besides managing the office, Joan, as a travel agent, was one of the best! She was so knowledgeable and conscientious; if you ever had problems with your travel arrangements, Joan would ensure that matters were resolved – you never wanted to cross Joan, lol.
As a mother and grandmother, Joan was very proud of her children and grandchildren. At work, she spoke of them often and always was sharing pictures of them.
We are so sorry for your loss. Joan will be dearly missed.

We met Joan many years ago when she worked for Marlin Travel. She remained our Travel Agent after the transition to Maritime. Joan was a fabulous Travel Agent, who we entrusted to book many vacations for our family over the years.
Joan had an incredibly witty sense of humour and it was a pleasure to have known her. She will be fondly remembered!
Our heartfelt condolences to all of Joan’s Family and Friends.

Sandy…my prayers go out to you and the family at the loss of your mom!
Your mom was a great friend! What a hoot we girls would all have when we would get together. It didn’t happen often in these later years but I can remember all the good times when we would descend on Petawawa for Remembrance Day! No matter how much time had passed between visits we were always still “as thick as thieves”.
I’m keeping you in my prayers!!

We are so very sorry to hear about your Mom.
We were fortunate to meet her and have her plan our travels the past few years. We were privileged to call her friend. We shared some laughs and she kept Kelly on his toes with her quick wit.
May the precious memories you have of her comfort you now and always
Heartfelt and deepest sympathies to your family
