Obituary of Yvette Germaine Rymes

Peacefully at North Bay Regional Health Centre on Tuesday November 21, 2017 in her 85th year. Dear wife of the late Larry J. Rymes. Loving mother of Charles Meindle (Meredi) of Mattawa, Fr. Larry Rymes, Our Lady of Hope Parish, Sudbury, and Charlene Bennison (Brian) of North Bay. Sadly missed by her grandchildren Adam (Amanda), Kenny (Nicole) and Robert Rymes, Jennifer Bennison-Fleming (Eric), Lisa Barley (Ian) and Matthew Bennison (Alexandra) and by great grandchildren Alice and Lucy Rymes and Noah Fleming. Predeceased by her parents James and Annette (Morel) Backer, her brother Douglas Backer and sister Rita Backer. Kitsy was a member of the CWL and the Canadian Club for many years. She loved to play bridge and will be missed by her many card friends. She will also be missed by the retired gang from the Royal Bank. A funeral mass will be held at Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church on Thursday at 2 pm. A reception will follow in the church hall. Kitsy will then be cremated and her ashes will be interred with her husband at St. Anne’s Cemetery, Mattawa in the spring. If desired donations to Holy Name of Jesus Parish would be appreciated.
